Statement of Purpose and Objectives: The overall goal of the conference is to provide a one-day educational opportunity for the genetic counselors in New England to increase awareness on various topics in genetic counseling. This year,we will have particular focus on the genetics of brain malformations, epigenetics and IVF, next generation sequencing, and identification of Lynch syndrome, while also learning about the importance of grief keeping and peer supervision for genetic counselors.
