Rhode Island Department of Genetics Information

The Rhode Island Department of Health has integrated genetics into many different programs.  The Department has two Genetics Committees.  Information is available at http://www.health.ri.gov/genetics/committees.php

• Genetics Core Team – Includes representatives from a wide variety of programs involving genetics.  The team coordinates genetic issues within the Department and the implementation of the State Genetics Plan.
• Genetics Advisory Committee – Meets quarterly to advise the Director of Health on a wide variety of genetic issues.
